Hi, my name is Eimear Sloan. I am the director of It’s Eimear’s Designs.

At It’s Eimear’s Designs, creativity is at the heart of everything I do. I design and make pieces that carry meaning: wedding invitations that tell a couple’s story, keepsake signage that becomes part of a family celebration, personalised pyjamas that make Christmas mornings magical, and thoughtful gifts that are cherished for years to come. Every order is made with care, detail, and love.

My path to this business wasn’t straightforward. At school I achieved the results I set out to, but I had chosen subjects that didn’t inspire me. I wasn’t encouraged to be creative until I left school and went to Southern Regional College to study Art & Design. There I was taught by incredible tutors who gave me the freedom to express myself, and that experience shaped everything that came after.

I went on to the Art College in Belfast and graduated after three inspiring years. Life then took me into HR and Management, where I spent over a decade building valuable skills and experience. I enjoyed the stability, but I always knew that creativity was where my heart belonged. Eventually I took the leap into self-employment, building my own business and pouring everything I had learned into creating work that truly matters to people.

Now I run two businesses that I love and get to spend every day doing what makes me happiest. I believe in celebrating the milestones that matter most, creating keepsakes that last, and showing through my work that success doesn’t always come from following the traditional route. It comes from discovering what you love and daring to build a life around it.
